The modernised property boasts bright and spacious accommodation throughout, with parquet flooring, and is ideal for up to 4 guests. A wonderfully welcoming open plan living room providing leather sofas and a leather easy chair features for guests to relax and socialise after a busy day of sightseeing.
A flat-screen SAT TV with DVD player is provided for guests’ entertainment and a sunny balcony enjoys views over the main square and of the terracotta tiled skyline which leads to the breathtaking views of the Lake and mountains.
Apart from the lovely dining area to the spacious living room, a breakfast table is situated to the separate kitchen. The kitchen features lovely granite worktops and is perfectly suited for a comfortable self-catering stay with a gas hob and oven, a microwave, kettle and other desired appliances. A washing machine is also provided for guests.
There are two bedrooms to the property making it ideal for couples and families. The master bedroom enjoys a romantic double bed and is decorated to a stylish finish to complement the parquet flooring and elegant age of the property. A bright and pretty aspect over St James’s Church can also be enjoyed from the balcony.
The second bedroom is also bright and welcoming with parquet flooring and a sunny balcony to enjoy. The two twin beds provided can easily be adapted into a double if required, making it a flexible and practical guest room.
Guests can easily reach the wide choice of Bellagio’s amenities and public transport easily on foot. The golden triangle town is a beautiful resort town made particularly famous during the Victorian era by the travelling European elite. Nowadays pretty cobbled high streets offer a vibrant mix of visitor shops, boutique shops and cafes and restaurants. To the lakefront guests can enjoy a morning cappuccino and brioche at one of the pretty cafes which line the classical style arcade and in the evenings the town is beautifully lit with romantic promenade walks and many authentic restaurants to dine at.
A car and passenger ferry service operates from the town and guests can visit the other splendid resort towns. Varenna is situated on the unspoilt eastern shore and boasts a charming medieval quarter with lakefront restaurants and a picturesque centre with the ruins of Queen Theodolinda’s ancient castle perched above the town and a popular visitor’s attraction for walkers. The pretty resort town of Menaggio, situated across the Lake on the popular western shore, boasts a fabulous family friendly Lido and is just a short drive away from Villa Carlotta, Villa Balbianello and the Menaggio and Cadenabbia Golf Club.
