The intriguing lakefront centre can be reached in a matter of minutes by car and here guests will find supermarkets, a bakery, a green grocer’s, a children’s park, a family-friendly sports bar and lake view restaurant. A regular air-conditioned bus service operates along the western shore, with routes to Como city, Menaggio and Lugano.
Nearby Lenno is home to the famous Villa Balbianello and also features a fabulous Lido with sandy beach and a bar and club with a wide variety of local amenities.
The Tremezzo shore is spectacular and enjoys a landscaped park, a wide variety of cafes and restaurants and a ferry port. Villa Carlotta can also be easily accessed by car and the resort town of Menaggio boasts pretty cafe-lined piazzas, boutique shops, a Lido with swimming pools, tennis club, golf club and much more.
