The walls are painted throughout in bright hues and are adorned with pretty pictures, Italian antiques and curiosities, ensuring this really is a home from home.
The sleeping accommodation is also very comfortable and welcoming and comprises a master double bedroom which is decorated in soft tones to ensure guests can unwind and recharge their batteries after a long day of sightseeing. A sofa bed to the living room can be utilised if needed to sleep an additional 2 guests if and when required.
A modern bathroom with shower, washing machine and all the desired sanitary ware also complement this fabulous holiday property.
The property is situated in the centre of the picturesque resort town of Varenna ensuring the town’s wide choice of amenities and attractions are all easily accessible by foot. Visitors can explore the many medieval passageways which lead to spacious Piazzas, ancient churches, wine bars, boutique shops and tucked away lake front vistas.
Enjoy relaxing with an authentic cappuccino or ice-cream at one of the lake view cafes, visit the lakefront botanical gardens of Villa Monastero, discover the historical Castello di Vezio with its frequent falconry displays and medieval re-enactments and take a day trip to explore the other golden triangle towns of Bellagio and Menaggio, by ferry.
A train service also conveniently operates from Varenna, taking visitors to Lecco and the fashionable and cultural city of Milan.
