Enjoying an elevated location on the Menaggio hillside this beautiful property is the ideal base for families staying in the famous central lake, with peace and tranquillity to enjoy as well the close proximity to the many popular attractions, activities and amenities.
The property boasts an open plan ground floor living and dining room furnished to a comfortable style to make guests at home during their holiday stay. Guests can relax on the sofas to enjoy the flat screen TV and can enjoy dining in the stylish kitchen diner which is beautifully finished with a marble topped kitchen which boasts all the desired appliances including an eye-level oven and dishwasher.
A fabulous feature of the property is its alfresco dining area which overlooks the beautiful Lake Como from its covered terrace in the sunny private garden. As well as enjoying dining alfresco during their stay guests can also enjoy sunbathing on the sun loungers with a good book or glass of wine!
The property offer families a flexible solution to their holiday stay with a bright and spacious master double bedroom, a child-friendly second bedroom furnished with modern bunk beds and a third room leading off from the second with a comfortable double sofa bed which can be used to accommodate additional guests if and when desired.
Two modern fitted bathrooms with power showers complete the internal accommodation and a washing machine is provided for guest’s convenience.
A private parking space is provided with the property and the lakeside centre of the pretty resort town of Menaggio can be reached by car in less than 5 minutes! Here guests can enjoy the wide range of amenities which range from supermarkets, delicatessens, boutique shops to charming cafe-lined piazzas, idyllic promenade walks and the family-friendly Lido with outdoor swimming pools and sandy beach.
The choice of restaurants is perfect for families, with something for everybody from inexpensive Pizzerias, lakefront restaurants, elegant Tremezzina hotel restaurants and country style ‘Agroturismos’ serving delicious organic meals from the delicious locally sourced Lake Como produce.
From Menaggio guests can easily reach the other famous golden triangle towns of Bellagio and Varenna by the frequent car and passenger ferry service as well as visit the beautiful Villas of Carlotta and Balbianello. Other central lake attractions include Isola Comacina and scenic boat trips.
Activities to be enjoyed during your stay on Lake Como include swimming, cycling, hiking, horse riding, sailing, canoeing, golf, tennis and extreme sports such as paragliding and skiing.
The property is also perfectly situated from Lake Lugano which is just a 20 minutes drive way and boasts the cosmopolitan city of Lugano with its elegant boutique shopping boulevards, chic bars, restaurants, parks, casinos and nightclubs to entertain and amuse.
