The property is situated in an exclusive residence in the charming and well-serviced lakefront village of Fiumelatte. The residence is built on the grounds of Villa Capoana, a 16th century ducal villa which once stood here and where guests can still see romantic remains in the grounds such as the splendidly restored rococo style grotto fountain.
The property itself is perfect for romantic breaks and small family holidays and provides guests with modern and spacious accommodation which is furnished to a high standard to a contemporary finish. Guests can enjoy the spacious open plan lake view living room which provides a stylish lake view dining area and a place to relax and sit with a wall mounted flat screen SAT TV for guest’s entertainment.
A fully fitted white kitchen is situated to the living area and is perfect for preparing family meals in a relaxed sociable way for guests’ holiday. A gas hob oven, coffee machine, Italian caffetiere, microwave and dishwasher are provided as well as other desired appliances and all crockery and utensils are also provided.
French doors lead out to a sunny lake view balcony which is ideal for sunbathing, relaxing and enjoying a chilled glass of wine. The views couldn’t be more like a scene from a classical romantic painting, with views over terracotta roof tops, villas, ancient cypress trees and the tranquil lake towards the dramatic mountainous western shore.
Guests can also enjoy a spacious master bedroom which also looks out to the lake and provides guests with a double bed, stylish furnishings and a serene ambience perfect for unwinding at the end of a long day.
A double sofa bed is situated to the living room and can be used to accommodation additional guests if and when required.
The newly fitted modern bathroom is fitted with a wash basin area, a power shower, WC, bidet and washing machine.
From the road side residence guests are conveniently situated just a short walk from the local village shops, authentic restaurants and a convenient lake bus service and a train service running a Lecco-Milan service.
From Fiumelatte the popular beach at Lierna is just a short drive away as well as the famous resort town of Varenna. Here guests can visit the beautiful lake front botanical gardens of Villa Monastero and the ancient Castello di Vezio. Exploring the picturesque town guests will find tranquil cobbled streets, romantic lake view vistas and a charming cafe-lined lakefront with boats bobbing on the water and views towards the western shore. A passenger and car ferry service operated from Varenna to the famous resorts of Bellagio, Cadenabbia and Menaggio. Lake Como activities include swimming, sailing, water sports, golf, tennis, extreme sports, sea plane rides and skiing.

Our one & two weekly service charges are inclusive of final cleaning, bed linen, towels, heating, utilities & air-conditioning (if installed in the holiday property). Tea towels & beach towels are not supplied. If your booking is for more than one week, clean linen & towels will be provided on a weekly basis.
