The modern property is situated in an exclusive holiday residence which is built in the ancient sunny grounds of the ducal 16th century Villa Capoana. Its past and rich heritage can still be appreciated by the fully restored rococo grotto fountain and the natural Fiumelatte River and spring which pass through here.
The property boasts spacious and modern living with a contemporary style open plan living are furnished with a comfortable sofa, dining area and a fully fitted kitchen fitted with a gas hob oven, coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster and a microwave. Guests can enjoy preparing tasty meals here during their stay or can sample the delicious local cuisine in the nearby restaurants. Alfresco dining is also provided for guests on the sunny private lake view terrace.
The property also boasts a spacious contemporary style bedroom with a double bed and walk-in wardrobe. Additional guests can be accommodated to the double sofa bed in the living room, making this holiday property perfect for small groups as well as couples.

The popular beach at Lierna is just a few minute’s drive away and boasts splendid views of the lake and the ideal spot for lake swimming.
The famous ‘golden triangle’ town of Varenna is also situated just a 2 minute’s drive away and provides guests with a wealth of ways to spend the day in a peaceful unhurried way, from exploring its ancient cobbled streets which lead past boutique lined piazzas to secret coves and beautiful vistas to enjoying a lakeside ice cream, evening aperitifs in a cosy wine bar and dining out at one of the romantic restaurants. The famous cultural attractions of Villa Monastero and Castello di Vezio can also be enjoyed and the other picturesque resort towns of Bellagio, Menaggio and Cadenabbia are just a short ferry ride away from Varenna’s car and passenger ferry port. Bellagio is famous for its fabulous shopping and its tranquil Villa Melzi gardens, Menaggio for its romantic charm, Lido and famous Golf club and Cadenabbia provides the gateway to the restaurant and villa-lined Tremezzina shore! A frequent Lecco-Milan train service operates from both Fiumelatte and Varenna and guests can easily also explore the cosmopolitan delights of Lecco, Como and Lugano.
Guests can easily enjoy a wide variety of lake activities including swimming, cycling, hiking, sailing, canoeing, wind surfing, horse riding, golf, tennis, paragliding and sea plane rides. Tea towels & beach towels are not supplied. If your booking is for more than one week, clean linen & towels will be provided on a weekly basis.
