Situated in a quiet hillside enclave of Gravedona this spacious and contemporary apartment is located on the entire first floor of a modern high quality residence and benefits from luxury accommodation and convenient resident facilities.
This family-friendly apartment is bright and extremely spacious throughout with an open plan tiled kitchen diner fitted with a contemporary kitchen and a glass topped dining area facing glass French doors. These slide out onto a fabulous sunny private balcony with alfresco dining for guests and enjoying views over the quiet resident gardens and towards the majestic mountain tops which make Lake Como so breathtaking.
Leading off from the spacious kitchen diner is a tiled living area furnished to a high standard with contemporary style wicker sofas, a widescreen TV and lit up at night time by a splendid over sized paper lantern.
The property offers versatile accommodation with a spacious and very comfortable master bedroom with double bed and a second bright and spacious bedroom ideal for younger guests with two single beds.
A newly fitted bathroom with power shower, wash basin, WC and bidet completes the accommodation and a washing machine is also conveniently provided for guests to use during their stay.
Apart from the private indoor and outdoor balcony dining areas guests are also free to enjoy the well maintained sunny garden which features a fabulous entertaining area with vine covered alfresco dining terrace with stone built BBQ and grill.
Sun loungers are also provided for guests to relax in the garden. For a sunny day out the local Lido also provides a wonderful place to enjoy swimming as well as sunbathing.
A covered parking bay is also situated in the small residence and the centre of historical Gravedona can be reached in a matter of minutes by car. The residence is conveniently situated close to the main lake road of Via Regina and as such does experience some traffic noise from time to time and fortunately this noise has been minimised as much as possible with double glazed doors and windows throughout.
The beautiful resort town provides a wide range of amenities including supermarkets, shops and quaint medieval streets lined with delicatessens and designer clothes shops, which lead past ancient townhouses to the spacious lake front promenade which offers pretty cafes and restaurants.
Annual events in the resort town include food festivals, authentic lake boat regattas, firework displays and music evenings which are held in the noble Palazzo Gallio.
Activities include swimming, sailing, football, hiking and cycling the 2km lakefront path to Dongo, a picturesque town south of Gravedona where boat hire services operate and also just a 16 minutes drive south of Gravedona also takes guests to Cremia where wind surfing can be enjoyed.
The resort town is well connected with a main lake road, a frequent bus service and a nearby ferry service. The popular ski resort of Madesimo is also just a 70 minutes drive away and the central lake activities around Menaggio include tennis, swimming, kayaking, golf and quad biking.
The residence is situated close to the main lake road of Via Regina and as such does experience some traffic noise from time to time and as such all windows and doors are double glazed throughout.
