From the property the lakefront centre of Sorico, which is an ancient fishing village is situated within easy reach by car and guests can enjoy the local amenities and range of activities which include horse riding with the Centro Ippico del Lario, and windsurfing, kite surfing, canoeing and mountain bike hire at the ‘Tabo Surf’ centres in Gera Lario and Sorico.
Not to forget the beautiful white sandy beach which is only 100 metres from the property and the centre of Sorico which is 50 metres away.
Sorico is located just an 8 minutes’ drive from Domaso and 12 minute drive from Gravedona where a wide variety of shops, cafes and restaurants line the front and north lake ferry services operate. A bus service also runs along the western shore and guests can either drive or take an air-conditioned bus to the central lake resort town of Menaggio in 35 minutes.
Power boat hire services can be found in Dongo which is just a 12 minute drive away from Sorico and which also features a beach with lake swimming and a pretty tree-lined lake front.
The popular Ski Resort of Madesimo also makes for the ideal day excursion for beginner-intermediate skiers, and can be reached by car in under an hour.
