The village historically is known as one of the ‘Tre Pievi’ towns, one of the most important on Lake Como and today it features a lovely selection of amenities and activities including horse riding at the Centro Ippico del Lario, windsurfing, kite surfing and mountain bike riding from the local ‘Tabo Surf’ Centres and enjoying a day’s canoeing to the Piani di Spagna nature reserve. Not to forget the beautiful white sandy beach which is only 100 metres from the property and the centre of Sorico which is 50 metres away.
The village of Sorico is also the perfect base from which to enjoy a day or weekend’s skiing with the popular Ski Resort of Madesimo easily reachable by car in under 60 minutes.
Guests can also explore the beautiful Lake Como by renting a powerboat at the nearby rental shops in the picturesque lakefront towns of Dongo and Domaso. The famous resort town of Gravedona also boasts a fabulous cafe-lined lake front promenade with a wide variety of shops, sports clubs and convenient northern lake ferry services.
The central lake also boasts a wide variety of attractions from its romantic ‘golden triangle’ towns of Menaggio, Bellagio and Varenna and its beautiful Villas and botanical gardens. Golf lovers can enjoy playing also on the famous Menaggio & Cadenabbia and the Villa D’Este courses on Lake Como and city lovers can easily reach Como, Lugano and Milan for cosmopolitan day trips.
