A stylish newly refurbished apartment right in the heart of Menaggio. The apartment is located in the main Piazza of Menaggio, making it an ideal base to explore all the towns & villages around Lake Como. There is no need for a car as the ferry dock is only 800m away but if you do have one, then there is a private garage parking with the apartment.
From the entrance door, you step directly out onto the Piazza from where you can stroll along the pretty lakeside promenade or relax at a cafe with your cappucino! In the town, you can find a number of delicious Italian restaurants, fresh home made ice cream shops, small boutiques, and a couple of supermarkets. The public 'Lido di Menaggio' (public swimming pool) with lakeside sandy beach is just five minutes walk from the apartment.
This lovely penthouse apartment is arranged over two floors with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is fully fitted, perfect for a self-catering holiday stay. In the living area, the entertainment includes a flat screen satellite TV with DVD player and a stereo CD player. No need to worry about climbing stairs, there is a spacious elevator up to the penthouse!
For those of you who need to keep in touch with work or family, Wi-Fi Access is also available in the property.
About the Area:
Lake Como (Lago di Como) is one of the famous Italian Lake destinations, just half an hour from noisy, bustling Milan, in the north of Italy. Lake Como is long (50km), slender and extremely deep. The southern end forks into two long 'legs', with the picturesque town of Bellagio situated on the promontory between them. Like the other Italian Lakes, Lake Como has been popular as a resort since the days of the Roman Empire. For centuries visitors have admired the blue lake waters and relaxed in luxurious villas in the wooded lakeside slopes above. Today, most of the scenic towns around the shores of Lake Como are popular for the wide variety of sports the lake area has to offer: wind surfing, swimming, water skiing, swimming and hand gliding.

To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our online booking form and pay a 30% deposit by wire transfer or credit card. The remaining holiday balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.

Italy's oldest golf course, established in 1907 with 18 holes Par 70, is located above Menaggio near Croce, in Grandola ed Uniti, approx. 20 min. by car. Tel: +39 344 321 03. Green Fees: Weekdays EU 55, Weekends and Holidays EU 70 Euros; Golf Cart Rental EU 36. Restaurant Golf at the club serves fantastic food and is well recommended.The closest major ski resort is Madesimo toward the Splugen Pass, which is approx. 1 hr 20 min. by car. St. Moritz in Switzerland is only 90 km by car. Other ski resorts are located in the Valtellina near Morbegno. The lake is beautiful to relax next to all year long - the scenery in the winter is some of the most striking, as the air is crisp, the visibility near perfect and the mountains capped in white snow.
