The spacious modern penthouse boasts a large open plan living room with comfortable sofa, TV, dining area and a fully fitted contemporary kitchen. Here guests can enjoy preparing meals with all the desired appliances including a gas hob oven, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and dishwasher.
French doors lead out to a fabulous roof top terrace which provides the perfect private entertaining space, with an alfresco dining area and boasting breathtaking views over terracotta rooftops of the mountains and lake!
The sleeping accommodation is ideal for small families and groups up to four. Both bedrooms enjoy romantic high sloping ceilings to create a welcoming and cosy ski chalet-style ambience to the rooms, making them ideal for resting at the end of long day of sightseeing and perfect for unwinding with a good book.
The master double is furnished to a high standard with a romantic and modern finish perfect for couples. The second bedroom is furnished with twin single beds and enjoys a large Juliette balcony view over the surrounding mountainside.
A modern fully fitted bathroom with a power shower, wash basin with vanity mirror, WC, bidet and washing machine completes the internal layout of this beautiful holiday property.
Outside the property guests can easily reach the private garage. A shared outdoor swimming pool with sunny poolside also provides the perfect place for guests to enjoy cooling off and unwinding during the daytime.
From the peaceful semi-rural Pianello hillside a selection of amenities are available to locals,
including a small grocery shop and a convenient western shore bus service. The nearby lakefront town of Cremia with its charming harbour and shingle beach boasts a water sports club, a selection of cafes and bars and also the very good authentic restaurant, ‘La Baia’ which serves fresh lake fish, local wine and delicious pizzas.
From the property the picturesque resort town of Menaggio can be reached in just 20 minutes by car. The famous lakeside town features pretty cafe-lined piazzas, a wide selection of supermarkets, lovely delicatessens, boutique shops, a variety of restaurants and a fabulous lakefront Lido with sandy beach, swimming pools and cocktail lounge bar. A frequent car and passenger service runs from Menaggio to the other famous ‘golden triangle’ towns of beautiful Bellagio popular with shoppers and the stunning Varenna popular with romantic visitors. Varenna also conveniently features a Lecco-Milan train service. The central lake features a fabulous choice of restaurants for guests to enjoy from family-friendly pizzerias, fine award-winning lake front restaurants and highly recommended ‘Agroturismos’ which serve delicious country-style cuisine.
The cosmopolitan cities of Como and Lugano also provide excellent dining out possibilities as well as designer shopping, trendy clubs and nightclubs, casinos and year-round cultural events.
Central lake activities are many and varied, from cultural excursions to the famus villas and botanical gardens to sport activities which include water sports, canoeing, swimming, tennis, golf, boat hire, hiking and cycling.
Extreme sport lovers can also enjoy the sport clubs situated above Bellagio which provide opportunities to paraglide, quad bike, abseil and climb trees.
