Ideal for couples wanting the freedom of self-catering accommodation with the added benefits of on-site facilities, this perfectly proportioned studio apartment is located in the popular holiday complex of Porto Letizia, on the north eastern shore of Lake Lugano.
This type of Studio apartment can be found on the mountain side of the Villa properties and of the main Palazzo building. The exception is that the Palazzo apartments are air-conditioned and situated on the third floor which can be reached by internal staircase or conveniently by lift.
The interiors enjoy a spacious open plan living area with sofa bed and a pullout single bed for additional guests and the two private mountain-view balconies provide lovely places to sit out and enjoy a morning coffee. A SAT TV is also provided for guest’s entertainment and WIFI access can be arranged upon request from the onsite computer shop.
A modern kitchenette with a breakfast table for 2 provides an informal and practical place to prepare light meals, with a gas hob, microwave and refrigerator.
The modern bathroom comprises two rooms with a washbasin and a second door leading to a modern bathroom with a bath tub with overhead shower, a WC and bidet.
Onsite laundry facilities are provided in the building and linen hire is also available.
The main Palazzo building provides guests with a helpful reception desk, a computer shop, hair salon the stylish Panama cafe bar perfect for morning coffee and evening aperitifs and the fabulous Italian restaurant ideal for wining and dining in the evening. From the Palazzo the lake view terrace leads to the outdoor swimming pool with a sunny poolside ideal for sunbathing and relaxing. A splendid sandy beach can also be enjoyed by guests and other onsite activities include tennis, mini golf, cycling and a children’s park.
The popular town of Porlezza boasts a charming selection of cafes and gelateria's and there is a wide range of restaurants available in the surrounding area including inexpensive and authentic pizzerias, the Agroturismo of ‘La Barcola’ situated in a tranquil rural valley of Grandola, the splendid ‘Ristorante di Paolo’ in Menaggio and the wide choice of International cuisine available in Lugano city.
Local activities include hiking, horse riding, fishing, tennis, golf, swimming, boat hire, sailing and quad biking.
The property is perfectly placed for exploring the local Lake District with Lugano city, Lago di Piano and Lake Como all reachable by car in just 20-25 minutes. Lugano city is a popular shopping destination with designer shops, chocolate shops, jewellers and food markets all beautifully presented along the cities elegant boulevards. In the evenings Lugano comes alive with bars, nightclubs, music concerts and a contemporary casino. An English-speaking cinema can also be enjoyed.
Lake Como provides the perfect day trip away from Lake Lugano, with the picturesque resort town of Menaggio running a ferry service to the other resort towns of Bellagio and Varenna and the lakeshore villas and gardens providing wonderful experiences for cultural and horticultural fans.

To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our online booking form and pay a 30% deposit by wire transfer or credit card. The remaining holiday balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.

In the high season months of July & August, arrival & departure days are on Saturdays only.

Each Porto Letizia property requires a compulsory final cleaning charge to be paid locally on departure. This final cleaning charge is dependent on the property type and it varies as follows: Studio Apt: EU60 1 Bedroom Apt: EU70 2 Bedroom Apt: EU85 3 Bedroom Apt. or Villa: EU100
On arrival you can hire a baby-cot for EU20, a highchair for EU15 and an extra bed for EU85. If you bring a dog with you then this will cost an additional EU30. All these charges are not dependent on the length of your stay and are a one off payment, they are not included in the above mentioned rental prices. Linen and towels are available for an optional cost of EU15 per person. Please note, if you choose not to accept this option, you will need to provide your own linen for the duration of your stay. There is also an additional compulsory fee of EU4 per adult per night & EU2 per child (upto 16 years of age) per night when staying in Porto Letizia. This is inclusive of gas, electricity and water. Air-conditioning is also included between July and August in Palazzo apartments only. It also includes free on-site parking, concierge service, 24hr reception, swimming pool usage, beachside sun loungers (subject to availability), ping pong, on-site children’s entertainment between 15th June – 15th Sept, cooking lessons, wine lessons, hiking excursions, 10% off boat hire, 10% off nearby tennis court, grocery delivery service by the local supermarket, Lido-beach entrance between 1st June - 30th September and much more (enquire on-site for details). Starting from the 1st April until the end of September there is a local council tourist tax to be paid of EU1.50 per person per night for all persons above 14 years of age for a maximum of 10 days.
You will be asked to leave a EU300 deposit at the reception to cover accidental damages. If you accept the damage waiver at the time of booking you will not be asked for this deposit.
Internet is available for the majority of the complex at a 24 hours cost of EU10, a weekly cost of EU35 and a two weekly cost of EU55.
