We have a choice of 11 one bedroom property ID 234 apartments. Each one enjoying lake and mountain views and a large terrace area, perfect for 'al fresco' dining or sunbathing.
These one bedroom apartments all have an open plan lounge, dining & kitchen area, a double bedroom, sofa bed and a modern bathroom. (Only one of the eleven apartments has bunk beds a single bed & sofa bed sleeping 1 additional person).
They are comfortably furnished. The master bedrooms have lovely views overlooking Lake Lugano and the lush green mountains either side. In each of the opan plan living areas there are double sofa beds, fully equipped kitchens, dining areas and doors opening out onto a panoramic terrace, a real sun-trap! For your entertainment, there is satellite TV. WI-FI can be accessed from the apartment by request from the computer shop just infront of the complex.
The holiday complex is perfectly situated and has the ideal amenities for a family with young or older children. The extensive park grounds are an ideal place to take a leisurley stroll, there is a mini playground area where young children can play safely or there is a cycle lane for the older ones. Also in the residence grounds, there is a Italian restaurant, cafe and shop, a large shared swimming pool located just by the lake & beach. There is also a tennis court which is just five minutes walk from the complex.
The residence enjoys a wide range of facilities, such as a private beach, large outdoor swimming pool, sun-beds, attractive park grounds, a cycle path winding through the whole complex, mini-golf fields, a children's play area, main reception, on-site hairdresser, Italian restaurant, internet cafe and bar, conference rooms, on-site parking, laundry room, linen hire as well as tennis and cycle hire, all very close by.
The town centre of Porlezza is within close proximity and the local supermarket conveniently close by. There is also a good selection of local Italian restaurants to sample and then you can end the evening, walking along the beautiful lakeside boulevard.
Porlezza is just 12 km, over the mountain pass from Menaggio on Lake Como and is on the scenic route to the town of Swiss town Lugano. Porlezza is the principle town at this Southern end of the Lake in Italy and adds an Italian flavour to a well known Swiss name!
Just above Porlezza is the village of Carlazzo which is close to the nature reserve surrounding Lake Piano and which has a rich and ancient history. With a castle of its own and medieval fortifications, this village was once well protected. As with most towns and villages around the lakes, they have a heritage steeped in religion. Churches and monuments abound and this region is no different. The Church of St. Giorgio in nearby Gottro, is well worth a visit just to see the Romanesque Bell Tower. Other churches to visit include St. Stefano which houses a famous organ made by the Serassi family in 1858. Serassi is one of the most famous families of organ builders in Italy and Europe and have been organ building art for six generations from 1720 to 1895 - their name is synonymous with quality, music, Lombardy and Porlezza!
Visit the small village of Castello, close to Loggio & Porlezza. Built on a rocky spur, it has a fascinating maze of stone houses, narrow streets and small flowering balconies everywhere you look - there is also a great view of the surrounding area & Lake Lugano to enjoy.
Take a boat trip around the lake and get a series of different perspectives from the upper deck of the romantic steamer boat which stops at the pretty towns like the idyllic Morcote & Gandria.
Hike the ridge trail from Monte Lema to Monte Tamaro. There is such a range of activities & pursuits, such as the Alpine Coaster Bob, on & around Monte Tamara - a must for all you adventure lovers! Website: http://www.montetamaro.ch

Each Porto Letizia property tariff is inclusive of gas, electricity, water & air-conditioning (specifically in the Palazzo Apt's only between July & Aug only), however tea towels & beach towels are not supplied. On arrival, please visit the Porto Letizia Reception Desk where you will be able to collect and pay for your linen & towels, which is EU15 per person, per week & a further EU12 for each week thereafter. The final compulsory cleaning costs are as follows: Studio Apt: EU60 p/wk, 1 Bed Apt: EU70 p/wk, 2 Bed Apt: EU85 p/wk & 3 Bed Apt. or Villa: EU100 p/wk. A cot can be hired for EU20 p/wk and a Dog will cost an additional EU30 p/wk.

To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our online booking form and pay a 30% deposit by wire transfer or credit card. The remaining holiday balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.

In the high season months of July & August, arrival & departure days are on Saturdays only.

There is an additional compulsory fee of €4 per adult per night & €2 per child per night when staying in Porto Letizia.
