Tucked away along a quiet ancient passageway of cobbled stone, shutters and antique lanterns, in the pretty lake town of Ossuccio is this beautiful and high quality self-catering property. Its unassuming and authentic exterior modestly hides the wonderful re-vamped interior which has been refurbished and decorated to a sympathetic yet modern finish, creating warm, welcoming and homely accommodation for you and your guests.
On entering the property guests will be welcomed into a charming Italian farm house style kitchen which still includes many original features including flagstone flooring, exposed stone wall, an original working fireplace and an old beamed ceiling. The vibrant pale lavender and pinstripe touches create a modern and positive atmosphere where you and your guests can relax on the easy chairs and also sit at the charming farmhouse style table to enjoy tasty meals cooked in the pretty open plan kitchen, which features a sink, gas hob and all the necessary appliances for preparing simple holiday meals.
From the lovely kitchen a series of stone steps lead to the upper floors of the property, which equally exudes warmth, romance and style. The bedroom suites are ideally arranged for 3 travelling couples or grown-up families, with 3 beautiful and spacious double bedrooms. The pretty lilac suite is very romantic with Tuscan style beamed ceilings, flooring and delicate furnishings. A modern en-suite in a similar colour is conveniently situated off from the bedroom.
There are two further blue suites, each with beautiful double beds, original beamed ceilings and very stylish furnishings. The second suite benefits from a sunny private balcony with a view of the lake and the Comacina Island and the third from a TV.
A second modern bathroom is also situated in the property.
The ancient village of Ossuccio has a fascinating past with its medieval bell tower and the famous hillside UNESCO world heritage site of ‘Sacro Monte di Ossuccio’ and today offers a vibrant place in which to stay on Lake Como, with the many amenities and famous visitor attraction of Villa Balbianello in Lenno being just a short walk away. The local amenities of the village include a bar, Bank with ATM, green grocers, tennis courts, park, a public beach with views over L’Isola Comacina and a boat rental service easily accessible on foot. A frequent bus service also runs from the village, taking visitors either southwards to Como city or heading north along the desirable central western shore, to the delights of Tremezzo and Menaggio.
The pretty rustic village of Sala Comacina is also just a short walk away and where a beautiful lakefront restaurant can be enjoyed as well as the famous visitor attraction of the L’Isola Comacina, the only Island on Lake Como and which after a turbulent and rich history is now home to a unique restaurant.

Our one & two weekly service charges are inclusive of final cleaning, bed linen, towels, heating, utilities & air-conditioning (if installed in the holiday property). Tea towels & beach towels are not supplied. If your booking is for more than one week, clean linen & towels will be provided on a weekly basis.

To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our online booking form and pay a 30% deposit by wire transfer or credit card. The remaining holiday balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.
