The commercial and tourist centre of Arona can be reached by car in just 6 minutes and the popular town of Stresa with its many amenities, shops and clothes markets is just 15 minutes away. The umbrella museum, transport museum and the famous Villa Pallavicino are popular destinations and a frequent bus service operates to the town from Meina.
The tranquil Borromean Islands are also worth exploring with the most famous, Isola Bella just a 10 minute boat ride from Stresa, making it ideal for daytrips with the family. For incredible panoramic views guests should try the Mottarone funicular railway which takes just 20 minutes and which provides the perfect photo opportunities for your holiday!
