Families are well suited in this versatile and spacious villa apartment which boasts well proportioned bright rooms with high ceilings and pleasant garden and mountain views.
The main open plan reception room enjoys generous proportions and is ideal for relaxed holiday stays with a comfortable sitting area with a sofa and chairs and a SAT TV with DVD player for guests own entertainment. The spacious room also features a dining area and a fully fitted kitchen with a gas oven hob, kettle and all the other desired appliances to prepare simple meals.
Through the double French doors guests can enjoy the fabulous balcony which enjoys a sunny aspect and is ideal for enjoying morning coffees on and alfresco dinners, with views of the gorgeous parkland, mountains and the Lago di Piano nature reserve.
The property is ideal for families and groups of friends with a spacious master bedroom with a bright and modern interior and a second very comfortable bedroom with twin single beds. To the living area a double sofa bed can also be used to sleep additional guests.
A modern newly fitted bathroom is also situated in the property and a washing machine is provided for guests’ convenience.
The villa itself dates back to the 1600s and includes many fine character features as well as an onsite a chapel. Guest can enjoy the fabulous landscaped grounds which also feature mature cypress trees, rolling lawns and a shared BBQ area with stone picnic dining area. The 90mq outdoors swimming pool also provides guests with a fantastic place to relax and exercise and a shower room is situated by the poolside.
The pool opening dates are between 15 May - 15 Sept but can vary slightly depending on the weather.
Guests can use the off-street parking area outside the villa gates and from the hillside location of Carlazzo the villa is just a 7 minute drive from the popular resort town of Porlezza.
The town on Lake Lugano provides a wide choice of local amenities including supermarkets, banks, lake view cafes and shops. The nearby Lago di Piano nature reserve is popular with walkers and cyclists and other local activities include horse riding, tennis, golf, swimming, sailing, kayaking and quad biking.
Menaggio on Lake Como is just a 17 minutes drive away and provides guests with fabulous starting point from where to explore Lake Como, with its splendid villas, botanical gardens, family friendly lidos and adventure parks.
Guests can enjoy fine country-style cuisine in the nearby Agroturismo of ‘La Barcola’ also enjoy the local pizzerias and lake view restaurants which run southwards along the Tremezzina shore towards Como city.
Lugano city can be reached in just 30 minutes and provides a full range of cosmopolitan delights from designer shopping, modern casinos, and elegant cafe lined piazzas and trendy nightclubs.
