The property enjoys a prominent and sunny lake view position and comprises elegant and modern living over 4 floors in three separate Apartments, ensuring large groups and families can stay together whilst enjoying privacy. The apartment entrances are all accessed from the communal stone staircase which curves gracefully up this historical nobleman’s house.
The three separate Apartments each offer spacious and tastefully decorated Open plan Living rooms which feature newly fitted Kitchens with all the desired appliances as well as a dining area and very comfortable seating area with period features and complete with a flatscreen Sat TV and DVD player for your guests entertainment.
The principal Living room in the townhouse, with its grand proportions and commanding Lake views is situated in the first floor apartment and makes a fantastic place to enjoy a get-together with your guests.
All first, second and third floor Living rooms feature shutters which each open out onto a sunny lake view balcony making it the ideal spot to enjoy a cup of morning coffee or glass of wine during the warm summer evenings!
‘Villa Castello’ offers extremely generous sleeping accommodation for a large party of upto 15 guests. To the first floor a Master double bedroom and twin single bedroom is provided, to the second floor property a master double bedroom, single bedroom and double sofa bed to the living room is provided and to the third floor duplex property a 3 further double bedrooms are provided.
A modern newly fitted bathroom is located on each floor and the duplex property on the third floor has 2 Bathrooms.
The entrance to the townhouse is located along a wide medieval cobbled street with steps leading conveniently down to the heart of Menaggio and also offers a small garden.
The pretty town of Menaggio offers all the desired amenities with friendly delicatessens, supermarkets, bakeries, banks, newspaper shops, cafes and bars, boutique jewellery and clothes shops, lake view restaurants and the popular Lido with bar and family friendly club being all within easy walking distance from the property.
Visitors can also enjoy the town at their leisure with pleasant walks along the romantic lake view Promenade, wonderful cafes in the Piazza and shops, churches and parks along the avenue and ancient backstreets to explore.
Menaggio also provides very good transport links with a fast and frequent bus and Lake Como ferry service. Public parking is also ideally located just a 5 minute walk away along the cobbled street near Loveno.
The famous Lake Como attractions of Villa Carlotta, Villa Balbianello and the other lakefront Resort towns of Bellagio, Varenna and the capital of the Lake Como city are all easily accessible by public transport from Menaggio.
Other places which are well worth a visit include the wonderful Wine Bar ‘Cantina Follie’ which is situated in old wine cellars in Tremezzo and offers guests a vine covered open roof terrace perfect for wine tasting and enjoying local specialty apperetifs. The lakefront park in Tremezzo is also an idyllic place to enjoy a daytime or evening drink, with the cafe bar being situated in a converted boathouse!

Our one & two weekly service charges are inclusive of final cleaning, bed linen, towels, heating, utilities & air-conditioning (if installed in the holiday property). Tea towels & beach towels are not supplied. If your booking is for more than one week, clean linen & towels will be provided on a weekly basis.
