This elegant period villa is situated in the heart of the famous resort town of Bellagio and is ideal for groups and families who would like views, traditional comfort and convenience in their self catering Lake Como accommodation.
The villa features spacious and well proportioned rooms with views either of the splendid lake, the charming terracotta roof tops or the beautiful parkland of the Rockefeller foundation Bellagio centre. The main open plan reception room is elegantly furnished with chandeliers and dark Italian antique furniture to reflect the period features of the room which include original tiled flooring, ceiling mouldings and pretty stained glass windows.
Guests can enjoy relaxing on the leather and upholstered sofas to watch TV or a film on the DVD player. From the sitting area a Juliette balcony with lake views provides a lovely backdrop and the view can also be enjoyed from the dining area which provides a dining table with leather backed chairs for a party of up to 8 guests. A useful study with writing desk can also be used by guests.
A bright and spacious separate fully fitted kitchen with a hob, oven and dishwasher is situated with an adjoining breakfast room making for an ideal place to enjoy a morning coffee and also for preparing tasty authentic meals.
The sleeping accommodation is ideal for small to medium sized travelling groups with 2 double bedrooms , a twin bedroom with 2 single beds and a fourth single bedroom.
The master double is light and spacious and features a beautiful solid wood bed with character furniture in a similar style to the main reception room. The second double also enjoys wonderful period furnishings and a bright and sunny aspect, with a double bed in the Italian matrimonial style and boasting pretty views over the Bellagio centre gardens and of the charming townscape. The third bedroom features a set of comfortable antique twin single beds and a similar elegant interior.
A delightful fourth bedroom with single bed completes the sleeping accommodation.
Conveniently the property provides 3 bathrooms and laundry facilities include a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Outside the property the wide choice of amenities and attractions on offer in the resort town of Bellagio are right to hand with a fabulous variety of cafes and restaurants and a superb selection of pretty gift shops and boutiques selling fine Italian designer ware and also fine jewellery.
Guests can explore at their leisure the medieval cobbled backstreets which lead into piazzas and down towards the popular centre which features a romantic lakefront promenade, the Villa Melzi gardens and the two car and passenger ferry ports.
