Situated along ‘Route de Trabets’, guests are within a short walk away from the local neighbourhood grocery shops and eateries, whilst the centre of Les Houches is 3 minutes’ drive away. The Bellevue cable car is 2 minutes’ walk away, whilst the Le Parion ski lift is 11 minutes’ walk away. For those who enjoy fishing, Lac des Chavants is just a 16-minute stroll/3-minute drive away (a popular fishing lake for trout and white fish, as well as a popular winter destination for snowshoes and cross-country skiing). The train station, horse riding centre, child-friendly activities, tennis club and ski school are all within a short drive away, for year-round amusement.

Just 11 minutes’ drive away, Chamonix also boasts a wealth of ski and winter pursuits, as well as a buzzing resort centre with a weekly local food market, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and cafes to take advantage of. Those looking to enjoy a lively evening out will also be spoilt for choice; with a plethora of live music venues to accompany the resort’s nightclubs, lounge bars and microbreweries. In the summertime, the Chamonix valley provides a great destination for hiking, mountaineering, rock climbing, riding, adventure parks, paragliding and even water sports and golf; whilst in the wintertime, the region offers the perfect setting for skiing and snowboarding; with schools, rental shops, ski slopes, cross country routes and off-piste runs to suit all ages and abilities.
