The roofing is made of three-layer larch wooden shingles, the façade is ventilated with vertical wooden larch slats. The grid of façade battens continues below the eaves itself.
The building is built of Slovenian spruce wood, thermal insulation is made of wood fibers for the greatest bioenergetic comfort of living. The house has electrified outdoor blinds that allow shading of the building. When the blinds are closed, the external appearance of the building approaches the image of a barn. With this measure, modern architecture merges with the local already existing one.
The wooden pillars of the eaves are moved to the outer line of the building.
The house hovers over a stone pedestal made of the famous and eternal stone, Hotaveljčan. The outer stone pressure is stuck, the inner pressure is brushed. Through fixed glass glazing, without a visible frame, the stone pressure from the interior continues into the pressure of the terrace. Stone, hand-carved blocks of an old century-old house and a barn were used in the construction of the terrace and the accessible stone path.
The joinery is made of oak wood, external ALU cladding. The interior window frames are accentuated with solid oak slats. The living room has a wider window reading niche with heated seating areas.
The central space of the building is open to the ceiling, 7.5 m high with a gallery and a comfortable sofa, which offers an exceptional view of the Kuzelj wall through the roof window. In the central space, a black fireplace abounds, with a chimney running through the entire interior. The open central space allows for airiness and spaciousness.
Inside the building, solid oak is used as the basic building block of the furniture. The dining table, chairs and coffee table symbolize the meticulous workmanship of the carpenters with an emphasis on the strength and might of the oak. The equipment produced symbolizes the careful and precise manual skills of the masters, such as a steel fence made of thin rods. The lights in the central space are made of birch wood of eternal Scandinavian design. Wooden ribs provide soft luminosity for a comfortable atmosphere.
Outside the house, under a decades-old yew tree, is a wooden house covered with shingles suitable for children to play or listen to the flow of the Kolpa River. At the entrance to the plot there is a rockery with a fern. The design element of the fern also appears on the wallpaper in the hallway, which hides the door with frames. Large lawns allow for sports games or loungers.
On the north side of the building is a summer kitchen, with a sink and a large storage desk. Next to the counter is a large bench and a movable table. The wooden pillars of the eaves allow swaying in a hammock.
