Situated along the main lake road of Via Armando Diaz, guests are well positioned to reach the local public lake beach and some authentic eateries. The lake and mountain views from Nobiallo are spectacular; with guests’ able to take in the famous ‘Villa Gaeta’ which features in the James Bond film ‘Casino Royale’ as well the working marina of Nobiallo.
The old fishing village of Menaggio is also well placed for reaching the many sights and highlights of the western shore and touristic Central Lake.
The popular family-friendly Lido di Menaggio and the lake promenade which leads to the piazzas and shops of pretty Menaggio are a 3 minutes’ drive away. The picturesque lakefront of central Menaggio offers a variety of local amenities including restaurants, bars, supermarkets, bakeries, delicatessens and boutique shops. Local activities include swimming, boat rentals, mini golf, golf, tennis, hiking, kayaking and sightseeing.
Guests are also located 5 minutes’ drive from the main ferry stop in Menaggio and are 13 minutes’ drive away from the famous Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf club.
The ferry operates to the popular ‘Golden Triangle’ resort town’s route of Bellagio, Menaggio and Varenna, to other lakeside towns including Cadenabbia and Tremezzo (where Villa Carlotta is situated), and also to the cosmopolitan lake capital of Como city.
