My family and I stayed here mid-June 2016 and had a fabulous time! The villa is exactly what the pictures show online so that was a relief when we first arrived - you won't be disappointed! The villa is finished to a high standard, from the linen to the furnishings, and there is plenty of communal and private space for 8-10 adults, with each room having a toilet/shower. 2 of the family stayed in the smallest room which is designed for children but it was fine for them. The views are truly amazing and the pool is spot on - as already mentioned, exactly what the pictures portray. I doubt anyone would come to this villa and just want to sit by the pool everyday as there is so much to explore, but there are only 2 sun loungers and not loads of space around the pool to sunbath.
As the villa is on the side of a mountain, you do have to drive everywhere you want to go so bear this in mind. The villa is in a great location to get to all areas of the lake, including Como, but also drive/get the train to Milan. Lots of the villages nearby have ferry ports where you can get ferry's to locations the other side such as Bellagio and Varenna.
Overall we had a fantastic time and the staff at happy holiday homes couldn't have been more helpful leading up to our holiday and during. Loved Italy and Lake Como – highly recommend location and villa to anyone!

Fantastic stay at Villa Acero. We really loved the pool, the views, the linen, the air-conditioning and welcome basket.
We had a wonderful holiday and Happy Holiday Homes were helpful when our little daughter was ill.
To improve, plastic bins for rubbish in the basement would have been better. Also, toaster was broken.
