We were absolutely delighted with Villetta Argegno. We are a party of 4 adults and 3 girls( 15,10 and 10). The layout of the property was ideal for us. The location being 5 minutes from the lake was wonderful. We spent many hours on the roof terrace looking over the lake, absolutely stunning. The outdoor dining area was also much used as was the covered area in the midday sun.Parking was a bit of a problem, but to be honest, once we had parked up on arrival day we left the cars until departure day and relied on public transport, i.e.. bus and ferry. The bravest of us, that is everyone apart from me and my 10 year old granddaughter went on the cable car .Instead, Liv and I went once again to the fabulous Lido. Please don't be put off by the small pool. It is a lovely place , with superb staff, cool beer ,a rather chilly pool and a pontoon from which you can dive and swim in Lake Como. Memories that I will, as a 64 year old, treasure for ever.We visited Como City and Bellaggio, both were beautiful and worth the trip.Try visiting the little grocery shop in the village, lovely bread freshly baked each morning.Excellent ice cream from the ice cream shop in the Piazza. All in all one of our most wonderful holidays ever.Thank you, Argegno xx

Absolutely gorgeous villa, loved my stay here! It's clean and homely with a modern touch. I'd thoroughly recommend it as a somewhere with a brilliant location and breath taking views. It made for a wonderful holiday!!
House is lovely. Morning on the roof terrace was cool and peaceful. Every day has been special but here are a few of our highlights! Cable car to Pigra and not as scary as it looks. There were amazing views! The lido was great for a swim (if only they didn't insisit on a swim cap). The beach bar from 3pm onwards was a great place to chill out with the gorgeous lounge area. Looks expensive but 6 Euros for a Gin and Tonic was great value. Try the crazy golf next door. Lenno was best for ice cream.
A fabulous holiday. Lovely location and amazing views. Roof terrace and outdoor space are great - overall very comfortable for families. Good bike hire places for the active amongst us! Easy access to the ferry port which is goo too. We enjoyed trips across the lake, a day in Bellagio, hiring a boat, and a visit to Villa Balbianello! The greenway del Lago is also lovey. Amazing views, even though we did do a small part of it.
Beautiful house in a marvellous position. The roof terrace is unbelieable! Fantastic place and Argegno is really lovely.

We thoroughly enjoyed our break in this wonderful holiday home, which is one of the best we have stayed in. It's very spacious, extremely comfortable and easy to live in, with large bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms for everyone. The rooftop balcony has a lovely view of the Lake, and the garden is very peaceful for both relaxing and dining in. The location is a good mix of being perfect for getting away from it all, but close enough to walk to all the local amenities. There's a lovely bakery a short walk from the house, and some great bars and restaurants to be enjoyed in the immediate vicinity. We would definitely recommend it as a great place to stay on Lake Como.
